MSMA was successful in establishing the COVID-19 Mississippi Local Provider Innovation Grant Program this legislative session, through passage of SB 2820. The grant will be administered by the Mississippi State Department of Health, Mississippi Office of Rural Health and Primary Care (MORHPC). The program is funded by an allocation of $25,000,000 from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund via SB 3060. Through this grant, up to $250,000 per application is available to local health care providers to acquire and implement new technology tools and infrastructure. The program launched on July 1, 2022.  

Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2022 at 5 pm.
