150th Annual Meeting of the MSMA House of Delegates
Being around for a century and a half says a lot about an organization. And MSMA has proudly reached that milestone in 2018. This August 17-18, as we hold our Annual Session, we also will prepare to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the event. In addition to the regular business of electing new officers and voting on resolutions, MSMA will take a look back at history over the course of two days.
The 150th Annual Session will be held in Downtown Jackson. Session business and lodging for out-of-town attendees will be at The Westin Jackson. There will also be engaging historical talks held at the Museum of Mississippi History and a dinner at the Old Capitol Inn. The talks will culminate at lunch on Saturday with a keynote by Gov. Haley Barbour. A full schedule of events can be found here. Register for the Annual Session here. And Westin reservations can be made here.
MSMA is also looking for donations to the Commemorative Celebration. Your generous contribution will help make this celebration one for the ages! To donate as an individual, a component society or a specialty society, just email Karen Evers.
