provide funding for medical research educational programs for Mississippi physicians,
provide educational assistance for Mississippi medical students, and
provide grants to medical professionals whose practices have been impacted by disaster.

First Annual 
CADAVER COURSE 5K 

5K Walk / Run benefiting the MSMA Foundation, Inc.

This Halloween-esque event will feature "human cadavers" (frightfully outfitted medical student volunteers)
who will surprise and chase race participants along the route.

Participants will each receive a total of two "life belts" (flag football flags) at the beginning of the race,
and the human cadavers will attempt to snatch the belts from the runners / walkers throughout the route!

The "survivors" (aka participants who reach the finish line with at least 1 life belt) will receive
special recognition and will be entered in a grand prize drawing!

Start and Finish: 408 West Parkway Place, Ridgeland
(directly across from Renaissance Shopping Center)
Route: Highland Colony Parkway to Brame Road
